Naturum is the gateway to Laponia World Heritage Area. Have a coffee, learn more about the World Heritage Site and then continue into the areas. Here are some things you can do at naturum Visitor Centre.

World Heritage tour
Come with us on a guided tour of the area around Viedás, where we tell you more about the geological history of the World Heritage Area as well as the history of mankind here. We talk about and experience nature and living Sámi culture. We stop for refreshments along the way. Price 100 SEK.
Slideshow and film about Laponia
Our slideshow brings you three different accounts from Laponia. The slideshow lasts 14 minutes and is available in Lule Sámi, Swedish and English. It is shown at 10.30 and 15.30. Through our 16 film portraits of people who live or work in Laponia or are just visiting, you justyou can gain an amazing insight into the World Heritage Area. Screened on request.
Take the opportunity to enjoy a coffee while admiring the stunning scenery in the World Heritage Area. Inside the naturum Visitor Centre, our café offers among other things filling gáhkko bread sandwiches, waffles with jam and cream, home-baked cakes and freshly brewed coffee. We also sell sweets and cold drinks for your continued journey in Laponia.

What do you want to know about the reindeer? Which reindeer have antlers and what do they do to escape the cold? We take care of your reindeer queries. The lassoing experts at naturum can also teach you how to lasso a reindeer antler.
